5-Port 8K HDMI Switch for Multi-Source Setups

The Vszerda HDMI501-8K-02 connects five HDMI 2.1 source devices to a single display. It supports 8K resolution at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz for gaming consoles, media players and PCs. The silver chassis includes an IR remote for convenient switching from a distance.

Sustained 48 Gbps Bandwidth With Active Cooling

The switch maintains a stable 48 Gbps link under continuous load, preserving 8K@60 Hz or 4K@120 Hz signals without dropouts. It handles VRR and HDR metadata streams such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+ throughout extended sessions. Five LED indicators confirm the active port at a glance.

Replaces Manual Cable Swapping

This unit upgrades from passive splitters or older 4K@60 Hz switches that limit high-refresh gaming and 8K playback. The jump is worth it when a setup demands 48 Gbps throughput, HDCP 2.3 compliance and multi-format audio including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. It is not for installations requiring more than five inputs or automatic EDID management across dissimilar displays.

Questions about this item

Does the HDMI501-8K-02 generate noticeable heat or fan noise when left on all day?

The switch is a passive HDMI 2.1 device with no internal fan, so it runs silently and produces only minimal warmth during continuous use.

Which cables or accessories must I already own to connect five sources to one display?

You need five HDMI cables for the inputs and one HDMI cable for the output; the IR remote is included in the box.

Will my older 1080P@60Hz console work through this 8K switch without handshake problems?

Yes, the HDMI 2.1 chipset is backward compatible and handles 1080P signals alongside higher-resolution sources on the same unit.
