8×1 HDMI switch for up to eight sources

The Vszerda HS801-T connects eight HDMI input devices to one display and switches between them with a button on the unit or the supplied IR remote. It handles 4K resolution at 30 Hz, 1080p and 3D signals, and its metal chassis is designed to keep the signal stable without loss. The switch automatically selects the most recently active input when a device is powered on or plugged in.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This switch suits anyone who needs to route several game consoles, streaming sticks, laptops or media players to a single TV, monitor or projector and wants simple remote control. It is not for installations that require a higher refresh rate at 4K, nor for setups needing more than eight inputs or multiple simultaneous outputs.

The specification that decides fit

The key specification is the maximum supported resolution of 4K at 30 Hz; if your display or source requires 4K at a higher refresh rate this unit will not pass that signal.
