Share one keyboard, mouse and monitor between two computers with 4K 60 Hz video and USB 3.0 peripheral ports
This Vszerda KVM switch connects two computers or laptops to one HDMI monitor and lets them share a keyboard, mouse and two USB 3.0 peripherals. A single button toggles control between the systems, removing the need for duplicate input devices on the desk. It is aimed at users who run a work machine and a personal machine side by side. Driver-free operation is supported on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS, Linux and Chrome OS.
The unit has no fans or active cooling, so it runs silently and draws negligible power from the attached computers. An LED indicator shows the active port with blue or green light, giving instant visual confirmation of which system is in control. Because it is bus-powered through the USB links, no external power adapter is required for normal use.
The switch supports HDMI 2.0 output up to 4K at 60 Hz, plus 4K at 30 Hz and 1080p or lower resolutions. Both connected computers must be capable of and configured for the same target resolution — either both at 4K 60 Hz or both at 4K 30 Hz — otherwise the displays will stay blank. USB 3.0 ports provide up to 5 Gbps transfer speed for shared peripherals.

Connect both computers using the two included HDMI cables and two USB 3.0 cables first, then attach your keyboard and mouse to the switch's USB ports; the step often missed is powering on both PCs only after every cable is seated, otherwise the switch may not detect the video signal.
The unit has no user-serviceable parts; if the blue or green LED indicators fail or the USB 3.0 ports stop passing data at up to 5 Gbps, the whole switch must be replaced.
Both connected computers must support HDMI 2.0 and be set to the same 4K 60 Hz output; if either system drops to 4K 30 Hz the switch will show a blank screen until the resolutions match again.
