Adds an M.2 NVME or SATA drive to a PCI-E 3.0 X4 slot, supporting 2230 to 2280 sizes with dual M+B key ports
This Vszerda adapter converts an M.2 NVME or SATA NGFF SSD to a PCI-E 3.0 x4 slot. It accepts drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes. The card fits x4, x8 or x16 slots and includes two metal brackets measuring 8 cm and 12 cm.
The board suits builders who want to run an M.2 NVME or SATA drive from a standard PCI-E slot. It does not help buyers who need more than one drive on a single card or who require a newer PCI-E generation than 3.0 x4.
Mount the SSD onto the dual M-key and B-key ports, choose the 8 cm or 12 cm bracket, and insert the card into any compatible PCI-E slot. The main issue is forgetting to secure the drive with the retention screw before closing the case.
