Connects MCIO 38-pin to SFF-8611 Oculink 4X for 24 Gbps SAS data transfer over 50 cm
This 50 cm cable connects an MCIO PCI-E 4i 38-pin male port to an SFF-8611 Oculink 4X connector. It supports data rates up to 24 Gbps for SSD and storage devices. The assembly is built for PCIe 5.0 and SAS 3.0/4.0 environments.
Use this extender when the drive cage or add-in card cannot reach the motherboard or controller directly. The jump is worth it when signal integrity at 56 GT/s PAM4 must be maintained over a short external run.
The cable carries PCIe, SAS and Ethernet protocols without conversion, freeing internal space for airflow or additional drives. It requires matching MCIO and SFF-8611 ports on the host and target devices.

The MCIO 4i 38-pin male connector is a compact Mini Cool Edge IO design intended for dense server and storage backplanes; allow enough depth for the latch to engage fully without cable strain.
Insert the SFF-8611 Oculink 4X end squarely into the device port until the latch clicks, then connect the MCIO 38-pin male end to the SSD or backplane.
Replace the extender if intermittent errors appear or after repeated mating cycles degrade the 56 GT/s PAM4 signal integrity.
