Vszerda

Vszerda Oculink to PCIe 4.0 x16 Adapter 2 Port SFF-8611/8612 8i Expansion Card with 8cm/12cm Bracket

SKU CH-9PK2-SQR66

Adds two Oculink SFF-8612 8X ports for four PCIe drives at full speed with built-in DC power modules

  • Connects a detachable PCIe x16 motherboard via SFF-8611/8612 Oculink interface
  • Dual Oculink SFF-8612 8X ports run four PCIe disks at full speed simultaneously
  • Built-in high-power DC modules deliver sustainable and stable operation
  • Innovative chassis design accommodates four PCIe devices for concurrent use
  • Requires motherboard with detachable PCI-E channels for full four-disk recognition

Dual Oculink 8X to PCI-E 16X Adapter

This new adapter connects a detachable PCI Express 16x motherboard slot to two internal SFF-8611/8612 Oculink ports. It is built for system integrators adding high-density storage or expansion cards inside a chassis. The card includes an 8cm/12cm bracket for flexible mounting.

Requires Motherboard PCIe Bifurcation

The adapter only works with motherboards that can split a single x16 lane into multiple x4 or x8 links. Without bifurcation support, the board will recognise only one attached drive. This constraint decides whether the part fits the platform.

Powers Four PCIe Devices Simultaneously

Dual Oculink 8X connectors allow up to four PCIe drives to run at full speed together. On-board high-power DC modules deliver stable power for sustained operation. The design fits four PCIe cards in the chassis, freeing standard expansion slots for other add-in cards.

Questions about this item

How does the PCIe 4.0 x16 link perform when split across four drives?

The adapter divides the 16 lanes into four x4 paths so each drive can run at full x4 speed simultaneously, provided the motherboard supports PCIe bifurcation.

What bandwidth ceiling does the dual SFF-8612 8X interface impose?

Each SFF-8612 8X port carries eight PCIe 4.0 lanes, giving two x8 links that together match the x16 host slot without reducing per-drive throughput.

Which bracket height fits a low-profile or full-height chassis slot?

The package includes both an 8 cm and a 12 cm bracket so the card can be mounted in either low-profile or standard-height cases.
