Expands one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot into four full-speed M.2 NVMe bays supporting 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 drives, requiring motherboard bifurcation support
This PCIe 4.0 adapter converts a single x16 slot into four M.2 NVME bays. It targets builders whose motherboard supports PCIe bifurcation and who need to add multiple high-speed drives without occupying extra expansion slots.
Each of the four slots runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 for full Gen4 bandwidth per drive. The card accepts 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 form factors. It will not function on boards that lack a bifurcation option in the BIOS, and it provides no built-in cooling for the installed SSDs.
No heatsink is included, so sustained write workloads on all four drives may require case airflow or aftermarket cooling. The package supplies only the bare circuit board, leaving thermal management and mounting hardware entirely to the installer.

The card requires a motherboard with a free PCIe x16 slot and explicit Bifurcation support; without that BIOS option the four M.2 slots cannot operate at PCIe 4.0 x4 each, so an older platform lacking bifurcation will not run them at full speed.
Enter the motherboard BIOS and confirm the Bifurcation setting is set to x4x4x4x4 for the x16 slot, then boot the OS and check Device Manager or lspci — each NVMe drive should appear on its own x4 link at Gen 4.0 speeds.
The board accepts 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 length NVMe drives; mounting screws for the M.2 standoffs are not included, and the card ships without any heatsink so you must supply your own cooling if desired.
