PCIe 4.0 x1 to Oculink Adapter
This new Vszerda adapter adds an Oculink SFF-8612 x4 port through a PCIe 4.0 x1 slot. It enables connection of NVMe SSDs or eGPU docks using a SFF-8611 cable. The connector housing is welded to the PCB for a durable plug-and-unplug experience. The card supports bootable devices for added system flexibility.
Suits x1 slot expansion only
Builders with a free PCIe x1 slot who need an Oculink SFF-8612 interface for NVMe storage or an external GPU dock will find this card useful. It is not for users who require a native x4 or x16 electrical connection for full bandwidth. Systems without a spare PCIe x1 slot cannot use this adapter.
PCIe 4.0 16 GT/s per lane rate
The adapter operates at the PCIe 4.0 standard with a transfer rate of 16 GT/s per lane. This specification determines the maximum data throughput available through the x1 electrical link. Verify that your target NVMe SSD or eGPU enclosure supports this interface speed before purchase.

Questions about this item
Do I need a free PCIe x1 slot on my motherboard to install this adapter?
Yes, the card plugs into any available PCIe x1 slot to add an Oculink SFF-8612 x4 interface.
Will this card work in a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot?
It is built for PCIe 4.0 at 16 GT/s per lane and will fall back to the slot's native speed when used in a 3.0 slot.
How can I verify the link is running at PCIe 4.0 after setup?
Check the negotiated link speed in your OS device manager or BIOS; it should show 16 GT/s for a 4.0 connection.
