Dual M.2 NVMe and SATA Adapter
The Vszerda PH42 is a PCIe expansion card that adds one NVMe slot and one SATA-based NGFF slot to a desktop computer. It accepts M-key and B-key M.2 drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. The card fits standard PCIe x4, x8 or x16 slots and works with Windows, macOS and Linux without extra drivers.
Included SATA Cable and Bracket Options
A SATA data cable is supplied so the NGFF drive can connect to the motherboard or a SATA controller. The package also provides optional brackets: an 80 mm half-height bracket and a 120 mm full-height bracket. These let the card fit either low-profile or standard chassis without modification.
Two Drives at PCIe 4.0 and SATA Speeds
The NVMe slot runs at up to 32 Gbps via PCIe 4.0, while the NGFF slot is limited to 6 Gbps SATA throughput. Both drives operate simultaneously, giving a practical way to add fast boot storage alongside a larger SATA volume. The card does not support a second NVMe drive or RAID across the two slots.

Questions about this item
Will the SATA cable or bracket screws need replacing after repeated drive swaps?
The adapter includes a SATA cable and optional 80 mm or 120 mm brackets; the cable and screws are standard parts that can be swapped if they wear out.
Does the PCIe 4.0 x4 lane limit cap the NVMe SSD at 32 Gbps during long transfers?
The M-Key slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4, giving a 32 Gbps ceiling that the NVMe drive cannot exceed under sustained load.
How hot does the card get when both an NVMe and a SATA SSD run all day?
The board has no active cooling; temperatures will depend on case airflow and the specific SSDs installed.
