Two-port phone jack adapter

This Vszerda duplex wall jack adapter converts a single modular outlet into two RJ11 ports. It is designed for home or office users who need to connect a pair of analog devices such as a telephone, fax machine, answering machine or caller-ID unit. The cream-coloured housing blends with standard wall plates. Each pack contains two identical adapters.

Check your wall jack and wiring

Before ordering, verify that the existing wall outlet is a standard RJ11 modular jack and that the building wiring carries the two lines you intend to use. The adapter is a passive four-conductor splitter, so it does not create a second telephone number or add bandwidth. If your service provides only a single line, both ports will carry the same line.

Passive four-conductor splitter

The unit plugs directly into the wall jack and requires no external power. It accepts line cords from any two compatible devices, freeing the need for a separate multi-line telephone base. Because it is a simple mechanical splitter, it adds no signal processing and does not interfere with DSL filters or alarm circuits that may share the same wiring.

Questions about this item

Does the pack include any phone cables or just the two cream splitters?

The pack contains two cream-coloured RJ11 duplex wall jack splitters; phone line cords are not included and must be purchased separately.

Both splitters are identical 1-to-2 adapters, so is there any version choice to make?

Both units are the same 4-conductor duplex adapter that converts one modular jack into two, so no version or capacity selection is needed.

Will the four-conductor wiring carry both lines of a two-line phone system?

Yes, the 4-conductor duplex design supports two separate lines, allowing two devices such as phones, fax machines or modems to share one wall jack.
