USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C expansion card

The Vszerda SY-ADA20232 adds a single USB Type-C port running at 10 Gbps through a PCIe Gen3 x2 connection. It uses an ASM3142 controller and fits an M.2 22x60 B+M key slot. The card targets builders who need one high-speed Type-C port on a desktop platform.

PCIe slot and Molex power required

Your motherboard must provide a free M.2 22x60 B+M key slot wired for PCIe 3.0. A Molex power connector from the PSU must reach the card to supply up to 2A at 5V on the Type-C port. Without that cable the port will not deliver the rated power.

No bundled software or accessories

The package includes only the expansion card and a Molex power cable. Drivers are built into macOS 10.9 to 10.10 and 10.12 onward, Windows 10/8, Server 2012 onward, and Linux 2.6.31 onward. A separate download covers 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7, Vista, Server 2008 and Server 2003.
