USB 2.0 9-pin header splitter for internal expansion
This adapter converts a single motherboard USB 2.0 9-pin header into two separate ports. It supports transfer speeds up to 480Mbps for USB 2.0 and 12Mbps for USB 1.1 devices. The 30cm cable features a 180-degree connector orientation. A 5V LED indicator shows power status and a magnetic foot pad allows flexible mounting inside the case.
Check header availability and port requirements
Verify that your motherboard has a free USB 2.0 9-pin header before ordering. The package includes a USB 2*5P cable and an optional SATA cable for power. Ensure your operating system is among the supported versions: Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X, Linux or Chrome OS. No drivers are required for plug-and-play operation.
Replaces single-header limitations
Use this splitter when your motherboard lacks enough internal USB 2.0 headers for front-panel ports or internal hubs. It adds a second usable connection without occupying a PCIe slot. The upgrade is worth it for builders adding extra front-panel ports, card readers or internal peripherals. It does not increase total bandwidth beyond the single header's 480Mbps limit.
