This USB 3.0 extension cable adds 3.3 ft of reach between a Type A host port and Type A peripherals. It is not suitable for Oculus VR headsets.

Data speed and charging headroom

The link runs at USB 3.0 rates, up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0, and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Full 3.0 throughput requires both host and peripheral to support USB 3.0; aged or loose ports or oxidised connectors will fall back to lower speeds.
