A USB 3.0 KVM switch lets two computers share four peripherals with one-button switching at up to 5Gbps
This Vszerda KVM switch lets two computers share four USB 3.0 peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers or external drives. It targets home-office users and small-studio operators who need to toggle between a work laptop and a desktop without unplugging cables. The package includes two USB-A-to-A cables for immediate setup.
Four downstream USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5 Gbps bandwidth and remain backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. An extra USB-A power input accepts 5 V 2 A from an external adapter, stabilising operation when high-draw peripherals like hard drives or webcams are connected.
A single push button moves all four ports between the two connected computers while LEDs show the active host. Plug-and-play drivers work on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Linux, so the switch stays responsive during extended sessions without software overhead.

Connect the two included USB A-to-A cables from each computer to the switch, plug up to four peripherals into the front ports, then press the toggle button to select the active computer; the step people skip is adding a 5 V 2 A USB-A power adapter (not included) when using high-power devices such as external hard drives.
No scheduled maintenance is required; if the toggle button or LED indicator fails after extended use, the entire switch would need replacement, and the two supplied USB A-to-A cables can be swapped out individually if they become damaged.
The 5 Gbps USB 3.0 bandwidth shared across all four ports is the first bottleneck when multiple high-throughput devices such as external SSDs or cameras transfer data simultaneously.
