A 4-port USB 3.0 KVM switch lets one keyboard and mouse control up to four computers, with push-button or desktop-controller switching and 5 Gbps data transfer
The Vszerda USB 3.0 KVM Switch lets one keyboard and mouse control up to four computers while sharing four USB 3.0 peripherals. It is built for users who juggle multiple desktops or laptops and want a single input set without unplugging cables. A desktop controller and front push buttons both provide one-click port selection. The unit requires an external 5V 2A power adapter for high-draw devices.
Each of the four downstream ports runs at up to 5 Gbps and is backward compatible with 2.0 and 1.1. Bandwidth is shared across the active port, so simultaneous heavy transfers from multiple drives will contend for that ceiling. The switch passes standard HID keyboard and mouse signals but does not support keyboard hotkey switching. A separate USB power adapter must be supplied by the user when connecting power-hungry peripherals such as external hard drives.
This hardware switch replaces the hassle of physically moving USB plugs between machines and removes the latency or driver issues of software-based sharing tools. The jump is worth it when you need instant, driverless switching across Windows, Mac and Linux systems with zero configuration. It is not suited for users who require video switching, audio routing or hotkey-only operation.

The unit provides four upstream ports for up to four computers and four downstream USB 3.0 ports that share a keyboard, mouse, printer, flash drive or similar peripherals across those systems.
The 5 Gbps link is the theoretical maximum of the USB 3.0 ports; real-world throughput will be lower and depends on the connected drives, cables and host controllers.
It uses USB 3.0, so each port caps at 5 Gbps and supplies standard USB power; high-power devices require the external 5 V 2 A adapter that is not included.
