Bi-directional USB-C switch handles two computers on one display or one computer across two monitors at up to 8K 30 Hz, 4K 120 Hz or 1440p 165 Hz while passing 10 Gbps data
This Vszerda KVM switch handles two computers on one monitor or one computer across two monitors. It passes video up to 8K at 30 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with 10 Gbps data throughput. A manual select button toggles the active path. The unit ships with a USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable, a DC 5 V power cable and a manual.
It delivers up to 100 W PD 3.0 charging, reaching 87 W in use, so a laptop can stay powered while switched. The supplier advises against attaching a USB-C dock or hub because that can cause flicker or signal loss. Cables between the switch and devices should not exceed 60 cm and must support video and data, not charging only. External DC power is required for the monitor to show an image.
The switch occupies a single USB-C port on each computer and one on the display, freeing the other ports for peripherals. It supports 1440p at up to 165 Hz for high-refresh gaming without adding latency. Because docks are not recommended, users who need legacy ports should connect them directly to the host. The compact design fits on a desk without blocking adjacent connectors.

Yes, the included DC 5V cable must be connected to a power adapter; the switch will not pass a video signal without external power.
The switch supports 4K at 120 Hz, so a compatible monitor will run at that refresh rate when the source device also outputs 4K 120 Hz.
Check the display settings on your computer — they should list 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz as the active resolution and refresh rate.
