Dual DisplayPort Adapter for USB-C Devices

The Vszerda USB-C to Dual DisplayPort Splitter Adapter connects a single USB-C port with video output to two DisplayPort monitors. It is intended for Windows laptops and desktops that support DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3/4. Mac users are limited to mirror mode only due to macOS restrictions.

MST and SST Modes Determine Multi-Monitor Behaviour

Windows systems support both SST and MST modes allowing extended desktop layouts such as AAA, ABB and ABC across two screens. Mac OS supports only duplicate modes AAA and ABB. The adapter requires a host USB-C port that explicitly supports video output and works with DP 2.0 or better cables for 4K resolution.

Aluminium Housing Dissipates Heat Without Fans

The unibody aluminium case provides passive cooling for the built-in IC chip during continuous operation. Nickel-plated connectors and thicker copper wiring maintain signal integrity at 4K 60 Hz without active cooling noise. Plug-and-play design requires no drivers or external power.

Questions about this item

What does the 4K@60Hz rating actually deliver on a Windows laptop?

On Windows the adapter drives two DisplayPort monitors at up to 4K resolution and 60 Hz refresh using MST, giving independent extended desktops (ABC mode) or mirrored pairs (AAB, ABB).

Which USB-C standard must the host port support for this splitter to work?

The host USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3/4; plain data-only USB-C ports will not carry video to the adapter.

What cable specification is required to reach 4K@60Hz on each DisplayPort output?

Use DisplayPort 2.0 or higher cables between the adapter and each monitor; lower-spec cables may limit resolution or refresh rate.
