Product identity

This is a USB4.0 female-to-male extension cable with a 90-degree side bend. It suits anyone who needs to route a Type-C connection around tight corners while keeping full 40 Gbps bandwidth and 240 W power delivery. The 14 cm length adds reach without clutter. It works with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts as well as current phones, tablets, laptops and handheld consoles.

Compatibility check

Verify that your device has a standard USB-C port able to accept a male plug. Confirm the host supports USB4.0 or Thunderbolt 3/4 if you require 40 Gbps data or 8K 60 Hz video. Ensure the power source can deliver up to 48 V at 5 A for 240 W charging. The cable is male-to-male gender, so it extends an existing female port or cable end.

Build and daily use

The flat, flexible jacket and copper conductors survive repeated bending in confined spaces. The right-angle plug points sideways, reducing strain on the port and keeping adjacent sockets free. At 14 cm it stays tidy on a desk, in a bag or behind a monitor. The black finish matches most gear and the 24-pin connector carries power, data, video and OTG in one cable.

Questions about this item

Does the 14 cm cable ship with any adapters or do I need to buy a separate power brick for 240 W charging?

The package contains only the single 90° side-bend USB4.0 C female-to-male cable; a 240 W PD charger and any additional adapters must be purchased separately.

When should I choose this 40 Gbps side-bend version over a straight USB4.0 cable?

Pick this 14 cm side-bend model when routing behind a laptop, dock or Steam Deck in tight clearance; the 90° elbow keeps the plug flat against the device while still delivering full 40 Gbps and 240 W PD.

What does the 40 Gbps rating actually deliver when I plug this into a Thunderbolt 4 laptop and an 8K monitor?

The 40 Gbps link supports 8K 60 Hz video, high-speed data and 240 W charging simultaneously, provided both host and display run USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 with DP Alt Mode.
