The Vszerda USR-N580 connects eight independent RS485 serial ports to an Ethernet network, enabling bidirectional transparent data transmission for industrial automation equipment. Each port operates at configurable baud rates from 600 bps to 921.6 K bps with selectable parity settings. It targets system integrators linking legacy serial devices to modern TCP/IP infrastructure.

Modbus Gateway with Dual Ethernet

The unit functions as a Modbus gateway, converting Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP and supporting Modbus polling across the eight channels. It offers TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP Server, UDP Client and HTTPD Client operating modes for flexible network integration. Dual Ethernet ports provide connectivity redundancy or daisy-chain topologies without an external switch.
