Converts VGA sources to HDMI displays at 1080p 60Hz with 3.5mm audio and external power
This Vszerda adapter converts a VGA output from a PC or laptop to an HDMI input on a monitor, HDTV or projector. It supports video up to 1080P at 60Hz and includes a 3.5mm audio lead to carry sound to the display. An external power supply port is provided for stable signal transmission. The unit is unidirectional and works plug and play without drivers.
Before ordering, verify that your computer or laptop has a VGA output port and that the display you intend to use accepts HDMI input. You will need a separate HDMI cable to complete the link between the converter and the screen. The 3.5mm audio cable must reach your source device's headphone or line-out jack. Ensure a USB power source is available for the converter's power port.
In a setup the converter sits between a legacy VGA source and a modern HDMI display, bridging the analogue-to-digital gap while adding audio embedding. It draws power from a USB port or charger, freeing the source device from driving the conversion circuitry. The one-way design means it cannot be used to send an HDMI signal to a VGA monitor, so plan the signal direction accordingly.
