Vszerda Wireless-AC 8260 Mini PCI-E Card

This Vszerda network card adds dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 to a compatible laptop or small-form-factor PC. It uses the Mini PCI-E interface and supports maximum link rates of 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz. The module implements 802.11ac 2x2 MIMO for improved throughput.

Check Mini PCI-E slot and antenna connectors

Verify that your device has a free Mini PCI-E slot wired for Wi-Fi and that two U.FL antenna pigtails are present or can be routed. Systems with only a single antenna lead or a slot reserved for other functions will not support the 2x2 configuration. Buyers who need M.2 Key E or USB connectivity cannot use this card.

Questions about this item

Does the Vszerda Wireless-AC 8260 include antennas and cables or must they be purchased separately?

The card is supplied as the Mini PCI-E module only; compatible 2.4/5 GHz antennas and pigtail cables are not included and must be sourced separately.

Should I choose the 300 Mbps 2.4 GHz band or the 867 Mbps 5 GHz band for my Wireless-AC 8260?

The adapter operates on both bands simultaneously — 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz for range and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz for speed — so no single-band choice is required.
