Accessory Handset IS8101 for IS8151 System

This VTech IS8101 is an accessory handset designed exclusively for the IS8151 series base unit. It cannot operate as a standalone telephone. Each base supports up to 12 handsets, allowing coverage throughout a home or office wherever a power outlet is available.

Compatibility Check Before Purchase

Verify that you already own a VTech IS8151 base station, as this handset will not function without it. Confirm you have not already reached the 12-handset limit on that base. An electrical outlet is required for the handset charger, though no telephone jack is needed at the handset location.

Range, Power Backup and Everyday Use

The handset uses DECT 6.0 technology to deliver a range of up to 2300 feet from the base under optimal conditions. A power-backup feature keeps the handset operational during mains outages. The device includes a headset jack and belt clip for hands-free convenience during calls.
