VTech LS6245 1.9 GHz DECT 6.0 Bluetooth cordless phone

Landline and mobile call merging

The VTech LS6245 is a DECT 6.0 cordless phone system that connects a landline with up to eight Bluetooth devices at once. It suits households that want mobile and fixed-line calls handled through a single handset. The system ships with one handset and can expand to twelve units. A digital answering machine stores up to 14 minutes of messages.

Touch-sensitive controls and range

DECT 6.0 on the 1.9 GHz band keeps conversations clear without clashing with Wi-Fi networks. The base and handset use button-free touch-sensitive keypads with white backlighting and an LCD display. Caller ID and phone directory memories each hold 100 entries. Conference calling, intercom and call transfer work between handsets.

Upgrade from single-line handsets

This system replaces a standalone landline phone that cannot link to mobiles or grow beyond one handset. The jump is worthwhile when you need Bluetooth pairing for mobile calls, multi-room handsets or a built-in digital recorder. It is not for buyers who want more storage than 14 minutes or who need a second base station.
