Automatic pencil sharpener with five settings

The VUSIGN AZ2052VC is a rechargeable electric sharpener that feeds and ejects graphite or colour pencils automatically. A helical blade driven by a built-in motor sharpens a pencil in three to five seconds. The unit weighs 0.712 kilograms and measures 9.6012 by 9.8044 by 22.7076 centimetres.

Artists, students and teachers who want precision

Five adjustable sharpening modes suit different creative tasks and the sharpener accepts pencils from 6.9 to 11.2 millimetres in diameter. It can sharpen stubs as short as 3.15 inches and delivers up to 600 operations after a 1.5 hour charge. Soft-core or charcoal pencils are not recommended.

Single charge yields 600 sharpenings

The internal battery provides enough power for approximately 600 sharpening cycles before recharging is required. This figure determines whether the sharpener can sustain a full classroom session or an artist's workflow without interruption.

Questions about this item

How do I decide which of the 5 adjustable sharpening settings to use?

Choose a lower setting for a blunt tip suited to writing, and a higher setting for a fine point needed for detailed drawing; the sharpener auto-feeds and ejects in 3-5 seconds for each pencil.

What does the 600-sharpenings-per-charge figure mean when I am actually using it?

After a 1.5-hour charge the sharpener can sharpen up to 600 pencils before needing another charge, handling graphite and coloured pencils from 6.9 to 11.2 mm in diameter.

How does the battery-powered interface limit what the sharpener can do?

Being battery-powered and rechargeable means it operates cord-free, but it is not recommended for soft-core or charcoal pencils and requires a 5 V 2 A adapter for optimal charging.
