Compact USB-A Drawing Tablet for Beginners

The Wacom Intuos Small CTL4100 is a 7 inch graphics tablet with 4096 pressure levels and a battery-free pen. It connects via USB-A and works with Windows, Mac OS, Android and Chromebook devices. The 6.3 by 7.87 inch active area suits entry-level illustration, photo editing and document markup. Four customisable ExpressKeys provide quick shortcut access.

Simple Plug-and-Play Setup

Driver installation is required on Windows and Mac OS before first use; Chromebook and Android devices support plug-and-play operation. The L-shaped USB-A connector reduces cable strain at the port. Common issues include missing pressure sensitivity until the Wacom driver is installed and recognised by the creative application. The package includes three spare nibs and a removal tool for worn tips.

Check Port and Software Compatibility

Verify your computer has an available USB-A port or a reliable USB-C to USB-A adapter. Confirm that your operating system version is listed in the supported Windows, Mac OS or Android releases. Ensure the creative software you plan to use supports Wacom pen input and pressure data. Buyers needing a built-in display, wireless connectivity or a larger drawing surface should consider other product categories.
