The Wal-Rich 2012008 is a 1-inch push-fit coupling designed to join copper CTS, CPVC and PEX tubing without soldering, crimping or glue. It suits professional plumbers and DIY installers who need a fast, flame-free connection on potable or hydronic water lines. An integral tube liner is included to support the tube during assembly. The fitting is lead-free compliant under Federal Law 111-380.

Build Integration

The coupling installs by pushing the tube into each end until it seats, removing the need for torches, crimp tools or solvent cement. Its DZR brass construction resists dezincification in aggressive water conditions. Certification to ASSE 1061 and NSF 61 allows use in potable water distribution, while IAPMO listing and UPC, IPC and CUPC compliance satisfy common code requirements. It is approved for underground burial and as a manufactured joint that does not require an access panel.

Capacity And Headroom

The fitting is rated for 200 PSI working pressure and 200 degrees Fahrenheit, covering typical residential and light commercial hot and cold water systems. It connects 1-inch nominal tubing only; smaller or larger diameters require different couplings. Installers needing transitions to threaded adapters, elbows or tees must source those fittings separately. The push-fit mechanism is not intended for gas, oil or compressed air lines.
