The Walter Surface Technologies 13C125 crimped wire mounted brush is built for use with die grinders. It targets metal surface preparation tasks such as removing scale, rust and paint. High-density crimped wires provide fast material removal on various metallic surfaces. The brush uses oil-hardened and tempered carbon steel wires for durability.

Die Grinder Compatibility

This accessory fits die grinders and operates within the speed limits of that tool type. Performance depends on the grinder’s maximum rpm and the pressure applied by the operator. Exceeding the tool’s rated speed can cause wire breakage or reduced brush life. The brush is not suited for angle grinders or bench grinders without proper adapters.

3/4 in. Width Capacity

The 3/4 in. wide brush face covers small to medium work areas efficiently. It handles general cleaning, deburring and light coating removal on steel, iron and similar metals. Heavy stock removal or large surface areas will require multiple passes or a wider brush. The crimped wire design limits aggression compared to knot-type brushes.
