Bidirectional 2×1 HDMI Switch

This HDMI switch routes two sources to one display or one source to two displays with a single button press. It is built for anyone who wants to share a 4K monitor or TV between a games console, streaming stick or laptop without swapping cables. The fixed 3.3 ft braided cable removes the need for an extra lead on the output side.

Fixed Cable and Aluminium Chassis

A 3.3 ft HDMI 2.0 pigtail is permanently attached so one connection is already made out of the box. The aluminium shell measures 5.8 in × 4.6 in × 0.7 in and weighs 0.091 kg, acting as a heatsink that keeps the unit at 92 °F after 12 hours of use. Gold-plated connectors and an AWG26 cable resist corrosion and signal loss.

Sustained 4K 60 Hz Throughput

The integrated IC delivers 10.2 Gbps bandwidth, supporting 4K at 60 Hz, HDR, 3D and HDCP 2.2 continuously. Audio passes through uncompressed 7.1, 5.1 or 2-channel formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS. Source cables should stay under 1.8 m to maintain full 4K 60 Hz performance.

Questions about this item

Does the 10.2 Gbps bandwidth limit 4K 60 Hz output on longer cable runs?

The fixed 3.3 ft cable and AWG26 wire keep bandwidth at 10.2 Gbps; source cables should stay under 1.8 m for full 4K 60 Hz.

How hot does the aluminum shell get after 12 hours of continuous use?

The case reaches about 92 °F after 12 hours, so heat stays low during all-day operation.

Which HDMI cables do I need to supply myself for the two source devices?

You must provide two HDMI cables to connect your sources to the female ports; the 3.3 ft output cable is fixed to the switch.
