Dual-band omnidirectional antenna set

This pair of WatchGuard WG9004 antennas provides 360-degree horizontal coverage for outdoor wireless deployments. Each unit operates across 2.40 to 2.50 GHz and 4.90 to 5.85 GHz bands with up to 7 dBi gain. They connect via N-Type connectors and are sold as a two-pack for sector or campus installations.

Suitable for AP327X and four-port N-Type access

These antennas are designed for the WatchGuard AP327X outdoor access point and any access point equipped with four N-Type connectors. Installations needing a different connector type, a single antenna, or directional radiation patterns should consider other options.

N-Type connector requirement

The antennas terminate in N-Type plugs, so the host device must present four N-Type ports to use the full set. Verify the access point connector type before purchase, as adapters or pigtails are not included.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the WG9004 antennas are working correctly after mounting them on the AP327X?

Check the AP327X management interface for improved signal strength and client throughput on both the 2.40 GHz to 2.50 GHz and 4.90 GHz to 5.85 GHz bands, confirming the 360-degree horizontal pattern is active.

What comes in the WG9004 box and do I need extra cables for the N-Type connectors?

The box contains two omni-directional antennas with N-Type connectors; the AP327X provides the four N-Type ports, so no additional cables are required for a standard four-port installation.

Should I choose the 5 dBi or 7 dBi version for a warehouse deployment with the AP327X?

The WG9004 is specified at 7 dBi gain, which is the version suited for broader casting range in large areas such as warehouses when paired with the AP327X outdoor access point.
