Chrome drain stopper for tubs
The Watco 48300-CP is a lift-and-turn bathtub stopper with a chrome finish that extends into the drain. It fits openings with a minimum inner diameter of 1.39 in and covers the area with a 2.875 in flange. Silicone adhesive is included for installation.
Replaces worn lift-and-turn stoppers
This unit upgrades an old or leaking stopper without removing the existing drain body. The jump is worth it when the original flange is corroded or the mechanism no longer seals, provided the drain opening meets the 1.39 in minimum. It will not suit drains smaller than that dimension.
Adhesive mounting with minimal clearance
Installation uses the supplied silicone adhesive and requires only 0.039 in of depth clearance below the flange. The existing drain stays in place, so no pipe work is needed. The most common issue is insufficient adhesive cure time before the tub is used, which can break the bond.
