Brass Boiler Drain Valve 3/4 MNPT x MGHT

The Watts BD-QT is a brass boiler drain valve with a 3/4 inch male NPT inlet and a 3/4 inch male GHT outlet. It uses a quarter-turn ball mechanism and an aluminium tee handle for quick shut-off. The body is rated for 200 psi and media temperatures up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. It meets ASSE, CSA, FM, NSF, UL, ULC, USC and WQA standards.

The valve threads directly onto 3/4 inch female NPT boiler tappings and accepts a standard garden hose on the GHT outlet. Brass construction allows hand-tightening plus one to two turns with a wrench on the wrench flats. Over-tightening can distort the seat and cause weeping. Ensure thread sealant is compatible with potable water if the system requires it.
