Dual-Bay SATA Dock for 2.5" & 3.5" Drives

The Wavlink WL-ST334U is a dual-bay docking station that accepts 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch SATA I/II/III hard drives and SSDs up to 8 TB per bay. It connects to a host via USB 3.0 or the supplied USB-C adapter and includes a 12 V 3 A power brick for stable operation. Tool-free insertion makes drive swaps quick and simple.

Suits Users Who Need Offline Cloning

This dock targets technicians, data-recovery staff and home users who want to duplicate drives without a PC or run one-touch backups through the supplied software. It is not for buyers who need hardware RAID across the two bays, nor for anyone who requires drive support beyond the stated 8 TB per bay limit.

Offline Clone Function Copies Data Without

The single deciding specification is the standalone clone button that copies sector-by-sector from source to target at up to 60 Mb/s while LEDs show progress. Target capacity must be equal to or larger than the source and the process runs entirely without a USB connection to a host.

Questions about this item

Does the Wavlink WL-ST334U come with a power supply or do I need to buy one separately?

A 12V 3A AC adapter is included in the box so no separate power supply is required.

Should I choose the 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch bay for an 8TB drive?

Both bays accept 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch SATA drives up to 8TB each, so either bay works for an 8TB drive.

What does the 6Gbps UASP figure mean for real-world file transfers?

With a UASP-capable host and a SATA III SSD the dock can sustain up to 6Gbps, roughly 20 percent faster than standard USB 3.0 at 5Gbps.
