USB 3.1 bandwidth limits real-world throughput

The adapter operates over USB 3.1, USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 ports and is also compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 and USB 4 hosts. Maximum resolution of 4096x2160 at 60 Hz per display is maintained even when connected to a USB 2.0 port. HDCP-protected content playback is not supported. Linux, Unix, iPadOS and iOS are not supported.

DisplayLink driver dependency decides suitability

The single specification that determines fit is the mandatory DisplayLink driver: without it the adapter produces no video signal.
