Quad-display docking station

The Wavlink WL-UG75PD1-DH2 is a 15-in-1 docking station built around the DisplayLink DL7400 chipset. It enables up to four external monitors from a single USB-C connection, reaching single 10K at 60 Hz, dual 8K at 60 Hz, or quad 4K at 60 Hz. The dock delivers 100 W Power Delivery to the host laptop and includes a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port for wired networking.

Host requirements

Your laptop must provide a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode and Power Delivery input. Driver installation is required on Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS 11 through 13 or later, Chrome OS, and Ubuntu. The host USB-C port must accept PD charging for the 100 W upstream power to function. Monitors connect via the two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 outputs.

Upgrade path

This dock replaces simpler single or dual-display adapters that cannot drive four 4K panels simultaneously. It is not for users who only need one extra screen or who lack a USB-C port with video and PD support. The jump is worth it when you need quad-head productivity, 2.5 Gbps LAN, an SD 4.0 card reader at 312 MB/s, and consolidated 100 W laptop charging through one cable.

Questions about this item

What cables and adapters come with the WL-UG75PD1-DH2 and what must I provide?

The box includes a 100 cm USB-C cable, a 160 W DC power adapter with AC cable, a cable holder and a quick start guide. You must supply your own DisplayPort or HDMI cables for the monitors and any USB peripherals you wish to connect.

Should I choose the DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.0 ports for my 4K 120 Hz monitor?

Use a DisplayPort 1.4 connection; it supports 4K at 120 Hz, while the HDMI 2.0 ports are limited to 4K at 60 Hz.

What does the 100 W PD charging figure mean for my laptop in daily use?

The dock can deliver up to 100 W to a compatible laptop through the upstream USB-C port, so most high-performance notebooks will charge at full speed while driving four 4K displays.
