Dual-transmitter Lightning lavalier

The WAVLINK WL-WAJ608 is a wireless lavalier microphone set built for iPhone and iPad creators who need two independent clip-on transmitters and a single Lightning receiver. It targets vloggers, interviewers and live-streamers recording to iOS devices without Bluetooth pairing or companion apps. The omnidirectional capsules pick up speech from any angle while the magnetic and clip-on mounts keep each mic secure on clothing.

Battery-powered 42-hour system

Each transmitter runs on its internal battery and the included charging case replenishes both units for up to 42 hours of combined recording time. The intelligent noise-reduction chip suppresses background sound in real time, so dialogue stays clear in busy cafés or outdoor settings. Automatic pairing connects the two transmitters to the receiver within one second of plugging the Lightning connector into the phone or tablet.

Upgrade from single-mic wired lavs

This kit replaces a single wired lavalier or a solo wireless system when two speakers must be recorded simultaneously on one iOS device. The jump is worth it for dual-host podcasts, two-person interviews or co-presented tutorials where separate gain staging and cable-free movement matter. Solo creators who never record a second voice will not need the extra transmitter.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Lightning receiver and which step do people often miss?

Plug the Lightning receiver directly into the iPhone or iPad Lightning port; the two transmitters pair automatically in about one second. The step users miss is granting microphone permission in iOS Settings before the first recording.

What maintenance or replacement will the WL-WAJ608 need later?

The transmitters and receiver run on internal batteries rated for 42 hours per charge; recharge them via the included charging case. No user-replaceable parts are specified, so the whole unit is replaced when battery capacity degrades.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the dual-mic system?

Battery life is the first hard limit — each transmitter lasts 42 hours on a full charge. Transmission range extends to 328 feet, so distance rarely becomes the bottleneck before the batteries need recharging.
