AC600 outdoor access point

The Wavlink WNAP570B is a dual-band wireless access point built for permanent outdoor installation. It targets users who need reliable Wi-Fi across gardens, farms, yards or campsites where indoor routers cannot reach.

PoE-powered IP67 enclosure

The unit replaces cabling runs to outdoor power sockets by accepting passive PoE or standard 802.3at/af active PoE over a single Ethernet cable. The jump is worth it when mains power is unavailable or trenching is impractical, and the IP67-rated housing survives rain, dust and temperatures from -10°C to 50°C.

600 Mbps combined throughput

Combined wireless rates reach 600 Mbps with 450 Mbps on 5 GHz and 150 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, served by two detachable 7 dBi antennas. This handles web browsing, IP cameras and streaming for multiple users, but saturates when several high-bitrate streams or large file transfers run simultaneously.

How do I power the device using the supplied PoE injector?

Connect the injector LAN port to your switch, the injector PoE port to the extender LAN/PoE port with a single Ethernet cable, then plug the injector into mains power; the extender supports both passive PoE and 802.3at/af active PoE.
