WAWEIS 12V AC/DC Adapter for Fostex X-14 Multitracker

SKU CH-9A2M-29VP8

Replacement 12V AC/DC adapter for the Fostex X-14 multitracker, accepting 100-240V input with 6.5 ft cord and built-in over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit protection

  • Worldwide 100-240V input works across regions
  • 12V DC output matches Fostex X-14 specs
  • 5 ft cord gives flexible placement
  • FCC CE RoHS certified for safety
  • Over-current over-voltage short-circuit protection built in

Compatible Replacement Adapter

The WAWEIS 12V AC/DC adapter replaces the Fostex AD-12T, AD-12, AD-12A and AD-12B units. It powers the Fostex X-14 multitrack cassette mixer and tape recorder. The supply accepts 100-240VAC at 50/60Hz worldwide.

Integrated Power Cord

A fixed 6.5 Ft cord eliminates the need for a separate mains lead. The single cable runs from the wall outlet to the X-14, reducing clutter on a desktop or in a rack. No extra IEC cable is required.

Protective Circuit Design

Over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and total-power protection guard the multitracker during faults. FCC, CE and RoHS certifications confirm compliance with safety and environmental standards. The adapter operates across a 12-16V DC range at 8W.

Questions about this item

Will the 6.5 ft power cord need replacing if the insulation cracks?

The 6.5 ft cord is integral to the adapter; if insulation cracks the whole unit must be replaced.

Does the 8 W rating limit continuous operation on the Fostex X-14?

The adapter delivers up to 8 W; sustained loads above that will trip the over-current protection.

How hot does the adapter get when powering the X-14 all day?

Built-in overheating protection and a smart chip keep the case at safe temperatures during continuous use.
