Replacement 60 W adapter for AR HTB80

This WAWEIS 18 V 3.3 A unit replaces the Phihong PSAA60M-180-R and PSAA60W-180-R supplies used with the AR Acoustic Research HTB80 sound bar. It delivers 60 W from a worldwide 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz input and includes a 10 ft power cord.

Ideal for owners needing a direct plug

Buyers who need a different voltage, a higher wattage or a detachable IEC inlet should look elsewhere. The fixed barrel connector and 18 V output suit only the listed HTB80 system.

Fits straight into the sound bar’s DC jack

The 10 ft cable reaches distant sockets without an extension lead, freeing the bar from bulky power bricks. Built-in over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and thermal protection guards the speaker electronics. FCC, CE and RoHS certified.

Questions about this item

Does this adapter need a separate mains lead or is the 10 ft cord already attached?

The 10 ft power cord is built into the adapter, so no extra mains lead is required.

Will it run safely on the 240 V supply I use for my older audio gear?

Yes, the input range is 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, covering the voltage used by your existing equipment.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering the correct 18 V 3.3 A to my HTB80 sound bar?

The unit includes over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit protection; if the sound bar powers up and plays normally, the output is within spec.
