AC Adapter for Amped Wireless Range Extenders

This WAWEIS AC adapter replaces the original power supply for Amped Wireless TAP-EX, TAP-EX2, TAP-EX3, SR600EX and SR10000 high-power range extenders. It delivers the correct voltage and current for reliable operation of these touch-screen and wireless-N devices. Buyers who need a power supply for a different brand or model of networking hardware should look elsewhere.

Input Voltage and Cord Length Limits

The adapter accepts a worldwide input range of 100 to 240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz, making it suitable for international use without a separate voltage converter. The attached power cord measures 6.5 ft in total length, which sets the maximum reach from the wall outlet to the extender. Installations requiring a longer cable run will need an additional extension cord.

Safety Certifications and Protection Features

This unit carries FCC, CE and RoHS certifications and includes over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and total power protection circuits. A smart chip provides over-heating protection while isolation materials reduce interference. Before ordering, verify that the extender's original power specifications match the adapter's output and that the connector polarity fits your device.
