WAWEIS AC adapter for WD My Book Office Edition

Purpose and Compatibility

This WAWEIS AC adapter replaces the original power supply for Western Digital My Book Office Edition external hard drives. It supports the WD3200H1B-00, WD5000H1B-00, WD6400H1B-00 and WD10000H1B-00 models for reliable operation. Desktop users and small-office workers who need a direct mains-powered replacement will find it fits the listed units. It is not for owners of other My Book series or drives requiring a different voltage or connector type.

Setup Checks Before Ordering

Verify the exact model number printed on your drive’s label matches one of the four supported codes before purchasing. Confirm the original adapter’s output voltage and polarity match the replacement to avoid damage. Ensure a standard mains socket is available, as the unit plugs directly into 100-240VAC 50/60Hz supply without a separate transformer block. Buyers who need a different plug standard or a longer lead than 6.5 Ft should look elsewhere.

Build Quality and Daily Use

The adapter carries FCC, CE and RoHS certifications and includes over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit and total-power protection circuits. A 6.5 Ft power cord gives flexibility for desk or floor routing without strain. Internal smart-chip monitoring adds overheat and anti-interference safeguards during continuous operation. The fixed mains plug and single DC output cable keep the desktop tidy but prevent use with devices needing a different connector or portable battery operation.
