Purpose and users
This RJ45 splitter kit lets two devices share a single Ethernet run by dividing the eight conductors into two separate 100 Mbps links. It is aimed at installers who need to connect a router and a TV box, or a PC and a camera, in locations where only one cable was originally pulled.
Thermals noise and power
The passive adapters draw no power and generate no heat or noise during operation. Each of the two channel groups delivers up to 100 Mbps without interference between the pairs, so normal data traffic runs silently and without added thermal load.
Build and daily use
The kit includes two splitter couplers and two Cat6 patch cables for immediate deployment. Wiring follows the 1236 and 4578 pin groupings, and ports labelled 1 and 2 must be matched exactly at both ends to maintain correct signal paths.

Questions about this item
How do I install the splitter pair and which wiring mistake should I avoid?
Connect one splitter at each end of the existing Cat6 run, matching port 1 to port 1 and port 2 to port 2; the pins are divided into groups 1236 and 4578 and must not be reversed.
What maintenance or replacement will the adapter kit need over time?
The passive splitter and the two included Cat6 cables have no moving parts or firmware; only physical damage or connector wear would require replacement.
What limit appears first when both connected devices run sustained traffic?
Each of the two cable groups is capped at 100 megabytes per second, so aggregate throughput above that will saturate the link.
