Small Gas Lens for TIG Torches
The WeldCraft 366-45V44 is a small gas lens collet body designed for TIG welding torches. It accepts a 0.093 inch rod and fits WP-9, WP-9V, WP-20, WP-20P and WP-25 models. The brass and copper construction supports amperage ratings of 250A and 210A. It suits welders who need consistent shielding gas coverage on compatible torch assemblies.
Eliminates Shielding Gas Turbulence
The gas lens design removes turbulence from the shielding stream as it leaves the nozzle. This creates a longer, more stable gas column that protects the weld pool more effectively. The improved flow pattern allows the tungsten electrode to extend further beyond the nozzle tip. Better visibility of the weld zone results from this extended electrode position.
Direct Replacement for Compatible Torches
Installation consists of threading the collet body into the torch head in place of the standard collet body. No special tools are required beyond those used for routine torch maintenance. The part is sold in a pack of two, so a spare is immediately available. Users must verify their torch model matches the listed compatibility before fitting.

Questions about this item
How often should the brass-copper gas lens collet body be replaced during regular TIG welding?
Replace the collet body when the gas lens screen shows visible damage, deformation or when shielding gas flow becomes turbulent, typically after extended high-amperage use on WP-9, WP-20 or WP-25 torches.
At what amperage does the 0.093-inch gas lens reach its thermal limit during continuous welding?
The small gas lens is rated for 250 A and 210 A; sustained operation at the upper rating will heat the brass-copper body first, so monitor nozzle temperature and duty cycle.
Does the gas lens body run hotter or draw more power than a standard collet body on a WP-20 torch all day?
The brass-copper construction dissipates heat similarly to standard bodies; the gas lens itself adds no electrical load, so torch temperature rise follows the 250 A / 210 A rating and your welding duty cycle.
