65 W USB-C charger for XPS and Latitude

This 65 W USB-C AC power adapter is built for Dell XPS 12 9250, XPS 13 9350 and Latitude 5000 series laptops. It delivers the rated output needed to run and charge those systems from a single compact brick.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The adapter supplies up to 65 watts through the USB-C connector without active cooling, so it runs silently on a desk or in a bag. Normal operation stays within the unit’s rated load, keeping case temperature modest during everyday charging sessions.

Build quality and daily connectors

A one-metre AC cord is included in the box, and a rubber strap helps keep the cable tidy when stored or transported. The DC plug features an LED ring that shows connection status at a glance, and the genuine Dell-branded parts are tested for reliable fit with the supported XPS and Latitude models.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 65W USB-C adapter and what step is often missed?

Connect the 1meter power cord to the adapter, plug into a wall outlet, then insert the USB-C connector into your XPS 12 9250 or XPS 13 9350. The step often missed is securing the rubber strap around the cable to prevent strain on the DC connector.

What maintenance or replacement will this charger need later?

Inspect the 1meter power cord and USB-C cable periodically for fraying or kinks. Replace the entire unit if the LED light ring on the DC connector stops illuminating or if charging becomes intermittent on your Latitude 5000 series laptop.

What limit appears first during sustained use of this 65W adapter?

The 65-Watt output ceiling is the first limit under sustained load. If your XPS 13 9350 or Latitude 5000 system demands more than 65W continuously, the adapter cannot supply additional power and may throttle charging speed.
