This 80 W soldering pencil runs on 24 V and connects to compatible Weller stations such as the WR2000VX, WT1, WT1H, WT1012 and WT1013. It is built for electronics assembly, repair and automotive wiring tasks that demand precise temperature control. The ESD-safe construction protects sensitive components during every joint. A single LT-series chisel tip and the heating element are included in the package.

Silver-Line Heating Technology under sustained load

Silver-Line Heating Technology delivers rapid heat-up and stable output during long soldering sessions. The iron reaches a maximum operating temperature of 850 °F and can be dialled down to 150 °F for delicate work. Power draw tops out at 80 W, so the station maintains consistent thermal performance without sag when joints are made back to back. The 4 ft cord gives freedom of movement around the bench.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

The pencil runs silently because it has no integrated fan; all cooling is passive through the barrel. At 24 V and 80 W maximum draw the station stays cool to the touch during typical use. ESD-safe materials prevent static discharge without adding electrical noise to the circuit. The durable heating element and included tip reduce the need for frequent replacements.
