Smart AC Controller for Mini-Split and Window Units

The WenzhiIoT WiFi Smart Air Conditioner Controller upgrades traditional mini-split, window and portable air conditioners with app-based control, scheduling and voice assistant integration without replacing the existing unit. A built-in sensor provides real-time temperature and humidity readings for automated comfort adjustments. The package includes the controller, a stand, USB cable, mounting panel and a temperature sensor.

For Retrofitting IR Air Conditioners Without

This device suits owners of older IR-controlled air conditioners who want remote access, weekly schedules and voice commands through Alexa or Google Home. It is not for systems that lack an infrared receiver or for buyers who need local-only control without cloud connectivity.

IR Compatibility Is the Deciding Specification

The controller communicates with the air conditioner exclusively through infrared signals, so the target unit must already accept an IR remote for the integration to work. If the AC uses a proprietary wired protocol or has no IR receiver, this product will not control it.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the controller with the stand versus the one with the mounting panel?

The package includes a single controller along with both a stand and a mounting panel, so you can place it on a shelf or fix it to the wall without choosing a separate version.

What does the ±0.3 °C accuracy mean when the unit is running?

The built-in sensor reads room temperature within three-tenths of a degree, letting the app trigger your AC when the actual temperature drifts beyond your set point.

Which Wi-Fi standard does the thermostat use and what does that limit?

It connects over standard Wi-Fi to the Tuya Smart Life cloud, so control range depends on your router coverage and internet link rather than a local hub.
