Included keyboard cover and trackpad

A dedicated keyboard cover is supplied to protect the keys from dust and moisture. The integrated multi-touch trackpad enables cursor navigation and gesture control similar to a laptop. Together they turn the tablet into a more productive workstation without extra accessories.

180 flip and 360 rotation

The hinge allows a 180 degree flip and full 360 degree rotation so the keyboard can be used in folio or detached orientations. This provides multiple viewing angles for typing, reading or media consumption on a desk, lap or bed. A built-in pencil holder keeps the Apple Pencil secure during transport.

Questions about this item

How do I clean the fabric cover and keyboard without damaging the backlight or trackpad?

Wipe the exterior with a lightly dampened lint-free cloth; avoid spraying liquid directly on the keys or trackpad surface to protect the backlight and multi-touch sensors.

What is the maximum viewing angle the hinge allows before the iPad becomes unstable?

The 360-degree rotatable hinge supports any angle up to a full flat fold, and the 180-degree flip lets you use it as a traditional folio without tipping.

Does the keyboard draw enough power to noticeably reduce iPad battery life during a full work day?

The Bluetooth keyboard and backlit keys run on their own rechargeable battery, so the iPad Pro 12.9 retains its normal all-day runtime.
