  • Silicone keyboard cover protects against spills and debris

Designed for MacBook Air 15 inch M2 2023

This hard-shell case fits only the MacBook Air 15 inch with M2 chip, Liquid Retina display and Touch ID released in 2023. It matches model numbers including A2941, MQKR3LL/A and MQKW3LL/A. Buyers who need protection for any other laptop model cannot use this case.

Bundled USB-C adapter and keyboard cover

A USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter adds a standard USB-A port for mice, keyboards, SSDs or flash drives and supports OTG function. The included silicone keyboard skin guards against spills. Users who already own a hub or prefer a bare keyboard gain no extra benefit.

Snap-on installation with vented bottom

The two-piece shell clips on and removes without tools, adding almost no weight at 0.45 inch thickness. Ventilation slots allow heat to escape while keeping all buttons and ports accessible. Buyers who want a padded sleeve or a case with a cut-out Apple logo should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often will the silicone keyboard cover need replacing?

The cover is removable and washable, so it only needs replacement if it tears or becomes permanently stained.

What stops the hard shell from trapping heat during long sessions?

The case is fully vented on the bottom and sides, matching the MacBook Air 15 inch ventilation pattern for safe heat disbursement.

Does the USB-C to USB-A adapter draw extra power or get warm when used all day?

The adapter is a passive USB 3.0 OTG plug; it adds no active circuitry, so it does not increase power draw or generate noticeable heat.
