Universal Smartphone Beanbag Mount

The Werleo Claw-X is a new car electronics accessory that holds any smartphone up to 4 inches wide, including iPhone 16 15 14 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S25 S24 Flip and Google Pixel 9 8 7. A weighted 2-pound friction base with an anti-skid bottom grips the dash without adhesives, while the claw-grip cradle secures the device one-handed and accommodates protective cases and pop-out grips.

Upgrade From Vent Or Adhesive Mounts

This beanbag design replaces vent clips that block airflow and adhesive pads that leave residue or fail in heat. The jump is worth it when you need a completely portable mount that moves between vehicles, works on textured dash surfaces and complies with hands-free laws without permanent installation.

Friction Base Install And Common Issues

Setup is instant: place the weighted base on the dash, connect the 17mm ball to a compatible Garmin bracket or the included arm, then clamp the phone. The cradle rotates 360 degrees for vertical or horizontal viewing. What usually goes wrong is the base sliding on heavily textured or vertical dash surfaces, or the 17mm ball not matching non-Garmin bracket patterns.

Questions about this item

What size ball connection does the base use to attach to a Garmin bracket?

The base uses a 17mm ball connection that fits virtually all Garmin stock 17mm ball brackets and cradles.

How do I secure the phone in the claw cradle without blocking the camera?

Place the phone in the cradle and close the arms; the claw-grip design locks it one-handed and the open layout keeps cameras clear.

What keeps the weighted beanbag base from sliding on the dashboard?

The 2-pound friction base has an anti-skid bottom surface that stays secure through vertical adjustment and 360° rotation.
