MacBook Pro 16 Compatibility

This hard shell case fits MacBook Pro 16 inch models released in 2021, 2022 and 2023 with model numbers A2780 and A2485. It is designed for owners of M1 Pro, M1 Max or M2 Pro, M2 Max machines who want a precise fit without covering the Touch ID sensor or Liquid Retina XDR display. The case will not fit any other laptop model.

Ventilation And Heat Management

A fully ventilated bottom allows heat to escape during normal workloads so the MacBook’s own cooling system operates without obstruction. All ports remain accessible while the case is on, meaning chargers, cables and headphones connect without removal. The rigid shell adds no active cooling but does not trap warm air against the chassis.

Kickstand And Keyboard Cover

The built-in folding stand props the laptop at an ergonomic typing angle that can reduce neck strain during long sessions. A transparent silicone keyboard cover is included to shield keys from liquid spills and dust. Together they provide 360 degree protection while keeping the Apple logo visible through the shell.

Questions about this item

How do I install the hard shell on my MacBook Pro 16 A2780 and which step is most often missed?

Snap the top cover on first, then the bottom; the step people skip is fitting the optional scratch-guard film before the bottom half clicks shut.

What part of the Werleo case will need replacement first with daily use?

The transparent silicone keyboard cover wears faster than the hard shell and should be swapped when it loses grip or shows permanent creases.

What thermal limit appears first during long sessions with the ventilated case fitted?

The MacBook's own throttling point is reached before the case vents become a bottleneck; the shell adds no measurable restriction.
