MacBook Pro 13 inch hard case 2016-2022

This navy blue hard-shell case fits MacBook Pro 13 inch models released from 2016 through 2022 including M1 and M2 versions. It covers model numbers A1706 A1708 A1989 A2159 A2251 A2289 and A2338 and ships with two silicone keyboard covers. The case measures 12 x 8.5 x .6 inch while the laptop itself is 11.97 x 8.36 x .59 inch.

Suits owners who need a snap-on shell

Buyers who want a sleeve or padded bag for transport should look elsewhere. Users with MacBook Pro models outside the listed A-series numbers cannot use this case. Anyone who prefers a cut-out design that exposes the Apple logo will not find it here.

Critical fit check is the A-number on the bottom

Verify the model identifier A1706 A1708 A1989 A2159 A2251 A2289 or A2338 before ordering. The case is moulded to those exact dimensions so an incorrect match will not sit properly. No other specification determines compatibility.

Questions about this item

How do I pick the right version for my MacBook Pro 13 inch?

Match the A-model number on the bottom of your laptop — A2338, A2289, A2251, A2159, A1989, A1706 or A1708 — to the listing; the case fits 2016-2022 releases with or without Touch Bar.

What does the 12 x 8.5 x .6 inch case size mean once it is on the laptop?

The shell adds roughly .6 inch depth and matches the MacBook's 11.97 x 8.36 x .59 inch footprint, so the laptop still slides into most 13-inch sleeves.

Does the hard-shell design limit which ports or vents stay accessible?

The no-cut-out design covers the entire bottom and top; all ports, vents and the Touch ID sensor remain exposed through precision-moulded openings.
